I didn’t start hunting until an older friend offered to take me duck hunting. We didn’t see a single bird that morning, but watching the sun rise over that pond mesmerized me. I will never forget that cold November morning in the rolling hills of Carroll County, Maryland. For the first time in my life, I truly understood nature’s uncomplicated beauty. From that point on, I was hooked on hunting. I currently live in Elkridge Md, with a house full of kids and Labradors.<\/p>\n

I enjoyed all types of hunting, but waterfowl is my true passion. Thus far, I have hunted Canadas in foothills of Appalachia, to diving ducks on Virginia’s eastern shore. Last year, I had the pleasure of hunting with my Black Lab, Smokey. Through a lot of hard work and training, she earned her stripes with twenty five retrieves in the field.<\/p>\n

My favorite hunting tradition is the opening day of duck season in Maryland. The past two years, I’ve had a\u00a0wonderful time hunting with fraternity brothers in the marshes of Taylors Island.<\/p>\n
